Welcome to North Charleston!

North Charleston is the third largest city in South Carolina with an area of 76.6 square miles, a population of just under 120,000 and is one of South Carolina’s major industrial centers. In relative terms North Charleston is basically most land between Charleston and Summerville, and includes the airport, the air force base,  passenger and freight rail service, port facilities, and a number of large employers. 

North Charleston has a number of parks and museums including Wannamaker County Park. Charleston Southern University calls North Charleston home as do the minor league ice hockey team the Stingrays. You will also find a host of top shelf restaurants, a number of retail establishments, like the Tanger Outlet Mall and Northwoods Mall, and a number of entertainment venues including Firefly Distillery and The North Charleston Coliseum which is one of the largest venues in South Carolina.
