Folly Beach, known locally as "the Edge of America", is 11 miles south of Downtown Charleston and a popular tourist destination known for its awesome surfing, friendly beaches and amazing food.

Folly Beach is known as an eclectic area and you can see that by the diverse businesses that dot Center Street, the main road through Folly. The regular population is around 2800 but it definitely gets more crowded when the weather gets warm. This is a true beach town and one of the most popular surf spots on the east coast.
